Details

We recently completed landscaping works at this high-end development of stylish family homes located in Killiney, Co. Dublin.

As with any implementation project which Tully Landscapes undertake, it is imperative that the planting scheme achieves harmony with the surrounding architecture and environment.

A formal planting scheme has been created here within the front gardens of Balure. This style of planting and hard landscaping embellishes the entrance way to each property and complements its architecture. Architectural plants are at the forefront of the planting scheme in the form of box balls, pyramids, straight-line hedging & formal street trees (Hornbeam). Portuguese Laurel hedges provide effective screening. The evergreen planting also provides year-round colour and structure.

Silver granite kerb edging and paving adds further elegance, texture and colour contrast with the formal planting. Gravel driveways have been laid with Nidagravel stabilising sheets to create a firm, free-draining surface for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

The planting scheme is less formal within the rear gardens with the addition of a greater variety of evergreen shrubs, specimen trees and herbaceous planting providing seasonal colour.
