Private Garden
09 October 2013
This garden design and landscaping project in Castleknock. Our client wanted a total garden make-over with an emphasis on low maintenance. The brief also included mature structural planting with functional spaces in which to sit and enjoy the garden.
The existing property and grounds were naturally divided into a number of different garden spaces and all of these were included in the garden make-over. Patios, old planting beds, gravel areas and some lawns made up most of these spaces but the entire garden looked tired and uninviting and in need of some inspiration.
We produced a full set of 3D garden drawings, planting plans and lighting plans for the entire garden. The new
plans inculded granite pathways, new patios and steps. One area of the garden saw the introduction of new raised quartz stone planters at varying heights with a waterblade waterfeature at the upper level. Other areas included new granite kerbing and artificial grass, all surrounded by lush planting beds with specimen trees and shrubs to add maturity.
Each space is tied together through careful selection of materials to complete this large garden design & makeover.
